Melanie Stritch

Soccer for Success Program Assistant

Melanie Stritch assists the hugely successful Soccer for Success program.

I enjoy working with other passionate Rapids staff members that are dedicated to helping players develop through the sport of soccer. I believe in this club mission and philosophy and want to strive to help the all players have the best possible introduction to the sport.

I was born and raised in North Carolina, and played soccer through high school. I moved to Colorado in 2006 to continue school. Having loved soccer since I was a child, I quickly became involved with the soccer community through working at a soccer bar, where I became a member of the American Outlaws. My son and I live in Near Northeast Denver, and I wanted to combine my passion for the sport with the talent of the youth in the area. In May 2015, I founded a non-profit, Soccer Camp City, with the goal of providing quality soccer programming during the summer months. I became involved with Soccer for Success at my son’s school, Gilpin Elementary, where I coached for two years. I believe in the power of sports based youth development and love to contribute to the communities I serve.
