4v4 In-Person Modules
The 4v4 In-Person Course is a four-hour course that builds on the principles covered in U.S. Soccer’s Introduction to Grassroots Coaching Module. Specifically, coaches will learn more about U.S. Soccer’s Grassroots Coaching Education Philosophy, Play-Practice-Play Methodology, the Six Tasks of a Coach, and the characteristics of players aged 6-8.

7v7 In-Person Modules
The 7v7 In-Person Course is a four-hour course that builds on the principles covered in U.S. Soccer’s Introduction to Grassroots Coaching Module. Specifically, coaches will learn more about U.S. Soccer’s Grassroots Coaching Education Philosophy, Play-Practice-Play Methodology, the Six Tasks of a Coach, and the characteristics of players aged 9-10.
9v9 In-Person Modules
The 9v9 In-Person Course is a four-hour course that builds on the principles covered in U.S. Soccer’s Introduction to Grassroots Coaching Module. Specifically, coaches will learn more about U.S. Soccer’s Grassroots Coaching Education Philosophy, Play-Practice-Play Methodology, the Six Tasks of a Coach, and the characteristics of players aged 11-12.
11v11 In-Person Modules
The 11v11 In-Person Course is a four-hour course that builds on the principles covered in U.S. Soccer’s Introduction to Grassroots Coaching Module. Specifically, coaches will learn more about U.S. Soccer’s Grassroots Coaching Education Philosophy, Play-Practice-Play Methodology, the Six Tasks of a Coach, and the characteristics of players aged 13 and older.
CSA C License
The National C License consists of two course meetings separated by a developmental period. The total course duration is approximately 2-3 months. It is separated into three phases: Instructional, Developmental, and Evaluation. All candidates must attend both meetings and cannot transfer between different national courses.
CSA D License
The National D License is an online and in-person course, that begins in March 2021 with an online experience and has one in-person meeting. Due to COVID-19, U.S. Soccer has provided this option to ensure that education can continue in a safe manner.
