Learn and develop Elite Principles and Player Actions while enjoying time with friends over the holiday!
This two-day camp provides boys and girls with the opportunity to further improve their understanding and application of defending and attacking principles.
Rapids Elite Thanksgiving 2-Day Camp is a great way to kick off the Thanksgiving holiday week while experiencing the Rapids Elite training environment and facilities at Regis University. This offering is exclusive to Rapids players participating at the Elite (Tier I-III), Competitive Select, and Rising Rapids Program Levels. Players outside of the Rapids organization should be at a CSA P1, P2, or P3 level.
Over the two days, camp coaches will look to address and break down key moments and principles within the two moments of the game: Attacking and Defending.
- Effective recovery and organization in transition after losing the ball
- Essential principles and player actions to be successful in 1v1 defending duals
- Defending in relation to the ball and the goal
- Defending with teammates to as a defensive unit
- Timely transition moments from defense to attack
- Essential principles and player actions to be successful in 1v1 attacking duals
- Combination play with teammates in the attacking third to create scoring chances
- Scoring Goals!
CAMP ITINERARY (subject to change):
- 9-4pm: 7 Hours Per Day
- On Field Outdoor: ~3 Hours Per Day
- On Court Indoor: ~2 Hours Per Day
- In Classroom: 1 Hour Per Day
- Team Tactics
- Video Analysis or Pro Game Viewing
- Lunch Break: 45′-1hr Hour Per Day

Attendee Requirements:
- Appropriate attire (training top, shorts, socks, cleats, shin guards)
- Please plan to play in cold weather, bring layers
- Water bottle (hydration stations available)

Refund Policy
If you have an injury or illness that prevents you from attending camp, you may receive a credit which can be used toward a future camp or other Rapids program. This request must be made within 2 weeks of the injury or illness and must have a physician’s note included. No refund, credits or transfers will be allowed for any other reasons.
