Colorado Rapids Personal & Team Training

The Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club provides personal training to all levels of players, from beginner to advanced at almost all ages. Schedule a training session year-round with one of our experienced staff members. We will be adding more coaches on as we continue to build this feature out for our members.

Levels of Coaching Available

Level 1 Coaching

  • 1 Player @ $25/Hr

  • 2 Players @ $30/Hr

  • 3 Players @ $35/Hr

  • 4 Players @ $40/Hr

Personal training for Level 1 players is geared towards individual mastery of the soccer ball.  Priority will be given to building confident, attack-minded players who relish individual possession of the ball.

Trainers will use fun games to make isolated technical work engaging for young players with an emphasis on physical literacy.  Players will establish a physical foundation that helps them achieve success in the application of technical exercises.  Players will progress from unopposed sessions to increased game-like, opposed activities as players build individual technical competencies.

Level 1 Coaching is built for beginning soccer players generally between the ages of 6 and 11.  Players should be individually motivated to improve, passionate about the game and relish training in an intense, focused environment.

Level 2 Coaching

  • 1 Player @ $50/Hr

  • 2 Players @ $70/Hr

  • 3 Players @ $90/Hr

  • 4-6 Players @ $100/Hr

Personal training for Level 2 players focuses on building individual technical qualities in order to achieve age and developmentally appropriate tactical outcomes.  Trainers will use a combination of individual technical activities and conditioned games to teach proper application of technique within the context of various game-like situations.  Trainers will also incorporate Speed, Agility and Quickness (SAQ) exercises to help players develop the physical qualities that lead to proper execution of technique under pressure.

Level 2 Coaching targets players with a solid technical foundation generally between the ages of 8 and 13.  Players should be individually motivated to improve, passionate about the game and relish training in an intense, focused environment.

Level 3 Coaching

  • 1 Player @ $50/Hr

  • 2 Players @ $70/Hr

  • 3 Players @ $90/Hr

  • 4-6 Players @ $100/Hr

Personal training for Level 3 players will build on the technical components introduced at younger age groups. Level 3 coaching also helps players isolate and develop techniques that are specific to the functional roles that they play within their team. Position-specific training is most appropriate for player age 13 and older.

Players should be individually motivated to improve, passionate about the game and relish training in an intense, focused environment.
