A class act from Whitchurch Alport in tidying up the away team dressing room and leaving us a good luck message for the season 👍🏼

Our First Team lost 4-1 on the night to a very good side, but some important miles in the legs for the lads to start their pre season fixtures.

Wishing Whitchurch Alport all the best for the coming season ⚽️

Llandeilo 1st XI made it two wins in a row after beating Neath 3rd XI at Cefn Saeson.

Neath won the toss and put Llandeilo into bat on a tricky wicket but the Llandeilo openers were patient in very windy conditions.

Hugh Towns eventually fell for 10 after an opening partnership of 49 and Haydn Hatfield joined Neil Harris in the middle. They proceeded to put on 79 for the 3rd Wicket before Neil fell for an excellent 75, his 3rd half century in three weeks.

Haydn managed to bat through to the end and finished on 34 not out with Llandeilo posting a solid total of 155 -4.

In response both Llandeilo opening bowlers bowled very tightly with Chris Jenkins conceding just 8 runs from his 8 overs and Anthony James getting 16 for 1 from his 8 overs.

With the pressure on to up the run rate wickets started to fall with Phil Harries finishing with 2 wickets for 6 runs and Hugh Towns getting 4 wickets for 7 runs.
Neath were eventually all out for 40 giving Llandeilo a win by 115 runs.
Llandeilo will be looking to make it 3 wins in a row at home to Skewen 2nd XI.
