11U-19U Girls Director of Coaching

Originally from Kelvedon, England, Lawrence began his playing career at Colchester United’s Youth Academy before relocating to Colorado, where he continued his development with Colorado Rush and Evergreen High School. He went on to play collegiately at Fort Lewis College and later at Colorado State University, where he earned a B.A. in Communication Studies. Lawrence began his coaching journey early, gaining his first experience while still in high school with the Evergreen Stingers. Since then, he has held coaching roles at several prominent Colorado clubs, including Boulder County Force, Arsenal Colorado, Colorado Storm, Trebol SC, and FC Boulder. Most recently, he served as Director of Coaching at Boulder County United and, following a club merger, at Albion SC Boulder County. His responsibilities included both on-field coaching and broader program administration. Throughout his career, Lawrence has led teams to multiple accomplishments, including a U13 DPL Mountain West Conference Championship and several promotions in the CSA Advanced Leagues. In 2023, his coaching achievements were recognized when he was named Colorado’s Advanced League Coach of the Year. Beyond wins and titles, Lawrence is passionate about developing well-rounded players and young leaders. His coaching philosophy emphasizes work ethic, discipline, sacrifice, mutual respect, and strong communication—values that extend well beyond the game. Off the field, Lawrence enjoys ice hockey, fishing, traveling, and supporting Chelsea FC. He lives in Denver with his fiancée, Brittney, and their Husky, Storm.

North Region Technical Director

Originally from Illinois, Sean played Division I soccer at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) before launching a professional career that took him overseas to Sweden. After two years playing abroad, he made Colorado his home in 2018 and has since become a well-respected leader in the soccer community, a husband, and father of two young children. Sean holds a USSF A License and is a USSF C License Coach Educator, bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion to our club. His leadership style is defined by his commitment to developing strong, lasting relationships with players, families, and staff - something we value deeply at CRYSC. Throughout his career, Sean has taken on diverse roles - from coach and director of coaching to director of soccer operations and, most recently, USL general manager with our Colorado Storm USL programs. Now, he’s bringing that experience and energy to our players, coaches, and families, where he’ll focus on developing our Elite boys and positively impacting the communities we serve.
