Colorado Rapids

The Colorado Rapids Soccer Club, established on October 17, 1995, is one of Major League Soccer’s original charter clubs. With a rich history that includes reaching the MLS Cup Final in the league’s second year and winning their first MLS Cup in 2010, the Rapids are a cornerstone of American professional soccer. As part of the Kroenke Sports & Entertainment family, the Rapids are deeply committed to their local community, supporting underserved children and families in Colorado through Kroenke Sports Charities and impactful programs like Rapids Reading Days and TeamFIT. Their home, DICK’S Sporting Goods Park, is a premier soccer venue, hosting millions of guests and notable events, including U.S. National Team games and the MLS All-Star Games. The Rapids also lead in youth soccer development through the Colorado Rapids Academy, a fully funded elite program dedicated to nurturing the next generation of soccer stars. With over 100 players across five age groups, the Academy has produced 15 Homegrown Players for the Rapids First Team. Additionally, the Rapids extend their influence through community programs like Player Clinics and the Most Valuable Coach initiative, fostering soccer skills, wellness, and educational opportunities for youth in Colorado. Rapids Youth Soccer proudly aligns with the Colorado Rapids Soccer Club, sharing a mission to inspire and empower through the game of soccer.
