Rapids Youth Soccer has named Anthony Presnell as the new College Placement Director to help parents and players navigate the college soccer landscape. The goal of the program is to support and place each CRYSC player in a college soccer program that fits their needs. Anthony was a standout selection due to his history working in college soccer and as the head coach of the 05 Boys ECNL team and the 06 Select Boys team.
Anthony has achieved his US Soccer A License and spent time coaching with the ODP Region IV 02 Boys Staff coach. This experience has given him the tools to understand the U.S. Soccer landscape, the recruiting process, and the local club soccer community. Prior to his time with the Rapids, Presnell was the Men’s Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for Regis University for 5 years.
Anthony has also spent time coaching with Mesa Community College for 3 years. In the past, Anthony has done college advisory work for clubs in Arizona, Northern Colorado, and Denver. CRYSC athletes will have access to the College Placement program starting their freshman year.
