A Unique Approach to Outreach Soccer

Our goal as the Outreach soccer program here at the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club is to connect as many children to soccer programming as we possibly can. Our club is the link to families and players across the Denver area who have the passion for this game.
With your help, we can provide rising soccer stars from underserved communities with technical programming, a competitive atmosphere, and access to our top coaches. By incorporating teams from our Outreach soccer program into our Recreational and Competitive programming, we can best serve all of the Denver Metro area and grow as one soccer community. No matter the jersey or number you wear WE ARE #ONECLUB.
Our work with the Swansea Community located in Near Northeast Denver is one example of the success we have seen through our Outreach program. With the support of the Swansea Elementary School staff and funding from Focus Points Family Resource Center we are able to provide players with the opportunity to join our Rec Plus league, where the players participate in two practices a week with Coach Juan Martinez, a game every Saturday at Lowry Sports park, and a spot at our annual Kelvin Norman Memorial Tournament. During this time, we saw an increase in attendance of these players at school and fewer visits to the office.
Soccer helped bring this community together, which is why we are so passionate about expanding this program throughout Denver.
